Holden Dealer Team entered the newly developed LJ Torana GTR XU-1, with Peter Brock and Colin Bond in the drivers seat. Ultimately the Ford Falcons of John Goss and Allan Moffat would dominate the series, with Peter Brock finishing the series equal fourth.
